the mass airflow sensor is the metal square *box* on your intake before the motor, and after your air filter, remove the 2 hose clamps holding it in, remove the top of the airbox cover, 4 screws, and unplug the sensor. pull the sensor and the lid, out, pull the sensor off the lid, and reinstall in the reverse order
In the exhaust pipe, right next to the engine.
Very simple. Unplug the wire to the sensor, unscrew/remove the sensor, install new sensor and plug it in. You're done. Have fun.
this is NOT the mass air flow sensor but this is a 20 second fix, it is located on the tube between the air filter box and engine on the firewall side of the tube
its in the air hose between the air filter and air box.

How do i replace mass air flow sensor 1992 lexus es 300
Should be on the air intake just after the mass air flow sensor. From the Air filter, you have a cover with a big fat rubber hose, then the big metal square Mass air flow sensor, more hose and on the side is the intake air temp sensor then the throttle body assembly
no MAP sensor, just mass air flow sensor
