you will have to go at it from underneath. the starter is close to the fan on the front closer to the driver side. disconnect the battery first. undo the wire attached to the solenoid and the battery wire, there are two bolts holding it on you will need an extension to get the top bolt. i think it is a 15mm socket. with those two bolts out it will come off. I'm not a mechanic but i did take mine off 2 hours ago andhad to buy a book to do it. hope this helps
