Passenger side up under the glove box. First disconnect the battery. Control module is located behind the blower motor. You may have to remove the blower to get to the module. Unplug the motor before doing so. The wires that you unplug from the blower will go straight to the control module. You will have to contort yourself to get up under there to get to it but be patient and you will get it. There are 3 7/32 screws holding it in place. The back one being the toughest to get to because there is a firewall/guard in place but it can be pushed backwards to get to the last screw. Hope this helps you out. As i am writing this I am replacing mine as well on my 97 vette.

When you replace a blower motor do you have to replace the resistor module too?

Something called a blower control module takes the place and is found in the hole where you would find a blower resistor, so there isn't a blower resistor in that vehicle. As far as the blower control module is concerned, the module is serviced as a unit. No part can be fixed or replaced. This is not to be confused with the control head in the dash. The blower control module is held into the heater box with two 8mm screws outside the firewall under the hood, where you would normally find the blower resistor pack.

Why is your air on when the ac and heat is off?

i think what you are refering to is a blower staying on all the time, if so the blower motor has shorted the control module, you need to replace the blower motor and control module.

1987 Corvette -Location of blower motor relay?

If you have the manual heat control it is supposed to be under engine hood passenger side between blower motor and evaporator, next to fuse relay . OEM 10019535 part number I could not find it. My H/ac has the automatic temp control and my mechanic said it probably has one built in dash Heater/Ac unit in dashboard. My blower motor kept running when engine was turn off. I replace control module to fix it. Easy repair but cost me $150.00 The control module is located above blower fan next to passenger fire wall and is exposed in engine compartment and not under radio. When my fan kept running when engine was turn off and key out I first replace h/ac temperature unit in dash under radio. That was not the problem. Since I had the automatic ac/heat ,the relay is suppose to be in the control module which I replace and it work. Hope this helps.

Your blower motor still runs when you turn car off and you cant control it from climate control unit it runs real fast what could this be?

the problem may be the blower control module.it is located under the hood by the blower motor itself,on the right side.it has a wirer connector plugged into it.remove batt connection.then remove module by removing the two small bolts.look at module one of the coil windings will be bad,if so replace module.
