I have a leak on my drive shaft left front 2000 cheve Blazer I would like to replace the whole unit
yes but you would have to replace drive shafts. The 4x4 shaft is shorter due to the transfer case.
you dont, if you want to disconnect it then remove your front drive shaft.
nic
No it will not. The center shaft that run's through the inside of a 2 wheel drive trans. is shorter the the center shaft that's in a 4-wheel drive trans. The 4-wheel drive transmission center shaft is longer so it will fit into the transfur case.
You have to open the differential and remove the retaining pin from the spider gear to remove the axle shaft.
You have to replace the whole drive shaft.
tool for drive shaft
Inside the bottom of the engine block.
Next to the distributor
No you do not.
there could be more than one factor it sounds like the actuator is bad or if your blazer has partial vacumm control then you could have a vacumm leak
The shaft inside the trans will have to be changed it is longer in a 2 wheel drive and the taIL SHAFT.
