Call your dealer, it's possible that you can get a spare set of keys.
The back seats in the Camry fold down allowing access to the trunk.
Not all models have chip. Engine immobilizer is a part of security and was optional.
when someone broke into my truck on my 90' camry, i brought it back to Toyota which cost me about $200.00 to get a new look but then you would have 2 different keys, one for the door/ignition and one for the trunk, you should be able to get it fixed by a local locksmith
I would check the transmission safety switch. If it's faulty you will not be able to get your key out.
If you have and older 4 runner 2000 my Toyota will replace the engine ecu for free, but you will have to pay for keys and programing. On this model year, if you lost all of the master keys you have to replace the engine ecu, beause you cant add key if you only have a vallet key.
That depends on kind of key you have. Smart keys need TIS Toyota software and special cable also activation for key replacement.

Traditional locks become more accommodating as they age. It tends to be a non-issue because by the time they get that bad, the car isn't worth enough to steal. If you want one where that will NEVER happen, get a car with keys that are "chipped" (General Motors introduced this reasonably early) or get a car with wireless keys (New Toyota Camrys have this option. Very nifty.).
