To replace the rotors on a 1996 Ford F150 4X4, first, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels. Then, remove the brake caliper by unbolting it and hang it securely to avoid strain on the brake line. Next, take off the caliper bracket and remove the old rotor by unscrewing any retaining screws, if present. Finally, install the new rotor, reattach the caliper and bracket, and ensure everything is torqued to specification before reinstalling the wheels.
