you have to life up the rubber covering inside the wheel wells and the plugs are right there
If a 1998 mountaineer crank will not start, check for faulty spark. This can be done by removing a spark plug wire or coil pack from one of the spark plugs. Then insert an extra spark plug into the wire or coil.
Hello I had to remove the curtains from the inside of the front fender wells to access the spark plugs on my 1998 Mountaneer. Be prepared to replace the curtains because most of the clips will break when removed. Hope this helps.

pull the old spark plugs out and put the new ones in dumbazz pull the old spark plugs out and put the new ones in dumbazz
find the plugs that connect to the plugs and pull them off.after that you can remove the plugs.
If you dont know how to replace spark plugs I recomend you go to someone that does and have him show you because you might do more bad then good trying to change them for the first time.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cable and covers, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new plugs, put back the covers and cables, and reconnect the battery.
K in the fender wells if it is a 5.o l they are left and right of cyl head under exhaust headers
Pull off the upper intake plenum and you will have access to the plugs and wires.
It has spark plugs. They are just hidden from view.
