On the 1.6L cars, Remove the upper radiator hose and air intake tube. For the alternator belt, loosen the bolt that runs from back to front thru the adjustment mechanism of alternator belt(12 mm), loosen the adjustment bolt that runs from left to right (12 mm), pull up hard on the belt to pivot alt., change belt, use adjustment bolt to tighten belt. On A/C, P/S belt (I'm assuming) you have to loosen the adjustment mechanism on the P/S just like you did the alternator, but you also have to loosen the pivot for the P/S pump (14mm accessed thru the slots in the P/S pulley) and also the 14mm headed bolt that holds the adjustment bracket to the engine. Then push down on the pump to loosen the belt. Easy, squeezy.
