go to your local parts store. get the right pads for your envoy. 1.remove cover protecting lug nuts, 2.loosen lud nuts..DO NOT TAKE OFF YET 3. LIFT VEHICLE AT APPROPRIATE JACK POINT (shown to you in your factory manual)it will be safer if you have jack stands for support. i don't just trust the jack provided. 4.once car is in the air take off lug nuts, and remove tire 5.you will see the pads and caliper. there are 2 bolts holding it in place. remove bolts with a 13 mm socket. 6. now with a caliper seperator you need to push back in the pistons( there are two and oval shaped. 7. once you do that replace the old pads with new and put everything back in its appropriate place, and repeat for the other side
