To Remove door panel
pry off cover on handle, two screws beneath. pull out on door lever, release linkage, unplug door lock connector. Reomove two screws under armrest. release plastic button clip near mirror (pop center bit out carefully with pin or pick). Pop off mirror cover. You can either leave switch assembly in door and carefully unplug wires once it's off. To remove it, you release it via flat scredriver up thru pry hole in armrest below aft edge of switch panel. (little square hole that you see if you look straight up)
Carefully pry/pull panel off, unplug connectors for rear glass switch window/mirror switches, release two tiedowns that tether wiring harness to door. (whew)
Next, pop off retaining plug and carefully peel back plastic door liner.
Using impact driver or very strong/big bit screwdriver with much pressure, remove three screws that hold door latch to door. (you will strip the heads of these screws unless you apply very strong pressure towards door hinge and use the proper size Phillips bit....they are very tight). Leave one screw in loosely until you are ready to extract it.
Unplug door lock actuator connectors, pop off door lever attachment and linkage guide for internal lever. (helps to have "U shaped' ulpholstery pry tool for the bigger linkage.)
Mark position of bolt and Unbolt rear window guide. You can pull this partway out of the rubber bit and let it sit in the door.
Remove the door latch assembly (kinda like that creature in the movie 'alien').
The actuator pops on and it held with a screw. Be sure that the little cam is engaged properly.
When you are all done, reset the auto up/down feature by closing the window fully and hold button for 2sec. Ditto for down.
Disconnect the battery supply. Remove the inside driver side dashboard under cover. Remove the actuator and screws. Reverse to install.............

The 1.7 liter has a cam belt. Replace it at 110,000 miles.
The 2003 Honda Civic is an interference engine and as such if the belt breaks you will have engine damage. Replace the cam belt every 105,000 miles.
