The filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. It's combined with the fuel pressure regulator (unless you have a steel tank). there is something that looks like a fuel filter next to the tank on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel but on my car it says it's not a serviceable unit it's an accumulator. It is on the left (drivers side) of the engine near the front.
The fuel filter is located at the back of the gas tank, but on top of it; the easiest way to change it is to drop the gas tank first.
