The headlight bulb is the part to replace on the 96 Sentra, unless the whole headlight unit was damaged. I suggest buying the bulbs in pairs and replace them both. Then you don't have to do the whole process over in a month when the other bulb goes!
The Sentra's bulbs are held in by a wire clip. Looks like it was made from an old coat hanger. Its a tad tricky to get it to unhinge, but it will pop open. Just unplug the old bulb and pop the new one in. Then fiddle with the wire until its clipped back into place. Do this in the daylight because its no fun trying to play with that darn wire in the dark, trust me!
