Is it the module or the coil paxk they are replacing? If it's the module replace the coil pack.....Or try the GM one and not an aftermarket....Or just a different brand of AM

You need to be clear as to what you are asking. There ire numerous parts to an ignition. Are you referring to the switch or module? jd
Disconnect the battery cables. Locate the ignition module. Disconnect wires and remove the screws. Remove the auxiliary components to reach the module. Remove the screws holding the module and remove it from its housing. Replace it with a new one.
It will not run if you bypass the ignition module (no spark).

Not all 2000 saturns have been recalled or so Im told I have a 2000 Saturn ls2 that ignition just stopped suddenlly one day turned over and nothing (good thing I have remote start)but when trying to get it fixed with recall they said there were very few affected by recall;;;let me know if you come up with ANY solutions,,thanks Dont replace it!!! The ignition module is right underneath the ignition coils. The ignition coils are what the spark plugs attach to. My alro was riding really rough so i just changed my coils and module for $200 and it runs like new. All you do is unplug the wires, unscrew the coils(6 bolts) and there is your module. :) Hope this helps!!
