Replace them when they're worn out. This can be 75 or 100,000 miles.

on the passenger side of the engine about midway back

You don't. You can't get a new one because the Isuzu dealers all closed down and aftermarket parts manufacturers won't make parts for Isuzus because all the Isuzus ran out of oil years ago.

User Avatar

it depends on the model of engine, my 97 rodeo with the 4ze1 motor has the map sensor for air intake but doesnt have an O2 sensor for the exhaust.

== == == == There isn't one! Nor is there a way for you to check the level yourself- you must have a mechanic to do it.

I own a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo and had the same problem. I went to a local Isuzu new-car dealer and was quoted a price in excess of $100 to replace the burned-out dashboard lights. I was told that the cost is high because the top of the dashboard has to be removed in order to obtain access to the lights. I did not have the lights replaced. carlpers
