FIRST make sure engine is cold. Then remover upper radiator hose from thermostat housing. Now remove the 2 bolts that hold the housing to the engine then remiove

thermostat and clean gasket off of housing and engine, Install new thermostat with spring down and gasket then tighten the 2 bolts evenly together until tight.

Install hose and fill with coolant. FIRST DRAIN COOLANT
