You need the key fob to reset the alarm. I try to keep mine out of my pocket while I am around the bike so it doesn't arm it on accident. You need to hit the button very quickly 2 times. There is also a code that you can enter with your turn signal buttons and ignition switch. Look in your owners manual. You will need to know your code. If your tech that set up the code did his job he would have written it down. Sometimes the tech will use the zip code of the dealership for the code. Either way, look it up in your manual.
