This is a tough troubleshooting but my daughter's hp mini 110 bios password's was reset successfully with some help from HP online's support feature.
A step by step procedure to get everything back up and running..I would love to know if this works for you. :)

∙ 13y agoPush ctrl,alt, and delete then it will show a few options. Click on the one that says Change a password and then you change your password. Simple as that.
