Hi;
I am already running Generic Cadd6 on XP. It's been a long time
since I set it up and I believe all I did was go to "command prompt", change directory to "C". Create directory for Cadd6 and copy the files to it. When I want to run CAdd6, I start XP...go to command prompt and then change to the cadd6 directory and type; cadd
My biggest issues were experimenting with the video and printer drivers. But, it is possible.

The best solution is to upgrade to the Windows replacement, General CADD Pro. You can find a free download at www.generalcadd.com
Upgrade to General CADD Pro, the Windows clone of Generic CADD. http://www.generalcadd.com
yes most of the games running in win xp will work fine with win 7. Win 7 also has a new feature called the XP Mode where we can run XP from within win 7. It is a cool feature.
Some Win XP programs need to run in the Win Classic mode. You would need to check with the printer manufacturer for compatibility.
Usually drivers for win 2000 are compatible with win xp. just try to install drivers for win 2000 on win xp. If it doesn't work correct download an appropriate driver from the manufacture website.
xp does not support above directx 9 but win 7 can do.......
no you cannot its only compatible with XP media center edition 2005
no.... can't be insall on win xp
Make sure you installed them correctly. You will in this case have to choose your operating system up on boot. You may not run the at the same time but some versions of Windows 7 include XP mode for virtual XP PC.
