マーチン (maa chin) and マルティン (ma ru tin) are both ways of writing 'Martin in Japanese, but usu the Japanese themselves have problem pronouncing 'ti' so they read 'chi' anyway.
School subjects/college majors are followed by the suffix "gaku." Sei (pronounced say) means "life" in Japanese. I can't remember what the "butsu" is for... sorry :( But anyway, that combination gives you: Seibutsu-gaku (pronounced: say-bootsu-gah-koo)
