With great difficulty. French does not have compound present tenses. You can say 'You speak', but not 'You are speaking' or 'You do speak'; and therefore, the question form is 'Speak you?' but not 'Do you speak?' or 'Are you speaking?' To make a question i French, either a) reverse verb and pronoun; Tu parles > Parles-tu? or (especially when the subject is not a pronoun) put 'Est-ce que...' on the front: La dame parle > est-ce que la dame parle? Est-ce qu'elle parle?
