in Danish, Swedish and Norwegian fish is called Fisk

In french, fish is called 'poisson' pronounced /pwa-SO(n)/

Simplified Chinese (or Mandarin) --> 鱼 yu(2)

Traditional Chinese -->魚 yu(2)

Malay (Bahasa Melayu) --> ikan

Japanese --> 魚 (kanji), さかな (hiragana) sakana

In Spanish we say "Pez" (if it is still alive and in the water ) or "Pescado" (if it is dead, and out of the water) Plural forms are Peces/Pescados respectively. Ex. Tengo peces en mi acuario (I have fish in my aquarium) ---Hoy comimos pescado a la parrilla (Today we ate grilled fish).
