How do you search for a player on Clash of Clans?

Unfortunately, there isn't a very direct way of searching for an individual player on Clash of Clans. If you're trying to find your friends to play with, the best way is to make a clan that has a trophy requirement equal to 0. You'll have to be friends with the player on Game Center in order to invite them to your clan. Click the trophy icon on the left side of the screen to show your league, and click the friends tab. Your friends who are playing Clash of Clans should show up here. Click their name and then invite to make them part of your clan.

Go to your Clan Castle and look for the "Search" Button. There you can find a clan by typing in the name or by typing in the Clan Tag.
