How do you send mail in Animal Crossing?

I will put this into steps:

1. Obtain any kind of paper.

2. Select the paper in your pocket.

3. Select write letter.

4. Select who you would like to write a letter to.

5. Write letter.

6. Go to town hall.

7. Stand on the red mat.

8. Talk to pelly. [If it's night do the same thing even though there is a different pelican]

9. Select send letter.[Or send mail]

10. Your character will automatically give letter to pelly[or other pelican] and it will automatically be sent to the person[Or animal] you selected it to go to.

buy letters from nook and open your pockets click on the letter and select write a letter. write it and hit confirm.on the right side there's letter pockets drag an item from your pockets onto the letter then go to town hall and go to the right window and talk to the pelican select send a letter and drag the letter into the window that pops up and hit confirm.

Just buy a letter, write what ever you want, then go to the post office where Pelly is and have her send the letter.

First get paper to write on then when you have your message go to the town hall and send it at the second window.
