First of you add that to hot water and you will be bale to see the sugar getting dissolved in the water while the diamonds are still there so you could extract the diamonds out !

Stir with a large enough volume of cold water to dissolve all the sugar. Filter to leave the diamonds on the filter paper. Wash on the filter paper with more water to remove any last traces of sugar solution. Allow drying.

∙ 12y agoYou can put it all in water. The salt will dissolve into the water but the diamond dust will not. Then pour the mixture through one of those coffee filters. This should let the salt and water solution pass through and leave behind the diamond dust. Then again the chance of this working depends on how fine the dust is. Hope this helped.
