Under your odometer is a knob button that you push down to clear your trip... If you twist it clockwise it changes the minute and anticlockwise changes the hour. Or the other way around... Pathetic right. Took me months
So, what's the answer to my question? How do I set the dashboard clock on my 1983 Buick Riviera?
get out your owners manual and it will tell you how to do it.
click settings use down arrow and find clock then just answer the questions it asks you and the the time will be set
if you have a paperclip. there are two holes in the dashboard. you can set the time there.
You will have to do this from the dashboard. Make sure to have the users manual on hand to make the process easier.
With the ignition on, press the mode button on the steering wheel and hold, the clock on the dash will flash you then use the channel up and down to set the clock. Really there are no easy or hard questions..... Easy questions are defined by the fact you know the answer ;0). Rob
You use the little knob that you use for setting the trip counter so instead of pressing it in (which resets the miles) turn it left to change the hours and right to change the minutes on your clock
While the ignition is turned on, press the left arm (BC) several times, scrolling through temp, miles to empty, etc... until the clock is displayed in the dashboard. From this position, there are two knobs in the dashboard; the left one resets the trip miles, the right one is used to adjust the clock. Turn the right knob clockwise and counter clockwise to adjust the minutes and hours. Cheers.
the clock is set for time
It is usually a small dial on the left side of the dashboard
