Duramax elevated idle programming: 1) Turn the key to ON. 2) Push accelerator pedal to the floor. 3) Push the brake pedal 3 times. 4) Release accelerator pedal. 5) Start engine. If it is below 32*F/0*C (and some other conditions), it will display Elevated Idle and will do it until engine warms up, you press a pedal, or put it in gear. (basically) It will not do it above 32*F. It will stay programmed for the future. To turn it off, do the same process.
Idle is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
There is no idle sensor. Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
maybe you need your computer reflashed. It worked for me.
You CAN'T, It is controlled by the computer, It's not ajustable. You probley need to just clean the throttle plate real good and that should fix your adle problem.
Sorry, nonadjustable. Computer handles that.
650-800
yes they are in a 1994 chevy silverado and is located on the left side of the throttle body.
A 2004 Ford Ranger may idle extremely high after cranking due to several potential issues. Common causes include a vacuum leak, which allows extra air into the intake system, or a malfunctioning idle air control (IAC) valve that regulates engine idle speed. Additionally, a stuck open throttle or issues with the engine's sensors, such as the mass airflow sensor or throttle position sensor, can also contribute to elevated idle speeds. It's important to diagnose the specific cause to ensure proper repairs.
You cant. The idle is controlled by the ecu.
its set by the ecm but sometimes the throttle plate has carbon built up and lowers the idle just have your mechanic clean it
The idle is controlled by the powertrain control module ( computer )
