Timing can not be adjusted, is done by the PCM.
To set the timing on a 1994 GMC Suburban you need to warm up the engine while the car is either in park or neutral. Next, you adjust the distributor until the timing is set to where you want it.
look in owners manual if not in there sorry
Yes.
The timing is electronic controlled. You MUST have an OBDII engine scanner to set the timing to specs. Timing light will not work.
I'd just set it by ear and how easy it starts once it's set.
It is inside the front of the engine, driven by the timing belt.
There are a few ways to set the timing on a 1994 Suburban 1500. Disconnect the connector firewall to loosen the distributor turning just a bit clockwise.
If you are asking about ignition timing there is no adjustment it is controlled by the engine controller
I don't have the documentation in front of me to give you the timing specs, but I can tell you that the timing is electronically controlled. There are no adjustment to be made.
It is set to zero degrees with a scan tool. It can not be done with a timing light.
Sos...anyone know?
Using a timing light, the distributor is set at twelve degrees before top dead center cylinder one.
