If they guitar and mic are wireless you have to calibrate them in the settings.
Guys i submitted the question the extra information is that the headset is completely functional because it all works on my computer. The problem is that I can hear everything through it on the PS3, but every headset's microphone doesn't work. I don't get why the microphone is the only thing not working, please help.
no
you plug a dongle into your ps3
To set up a wired internet connection on your PS3 first make sure that you have an ethernet cable from a router with internet plugged into your PS3. Next go into Settings>Network Settings>Set Up Connection. Follow the instructions on screen making sure you input valid information about your network. Submit and your PS3 should now be connected to the internet using the Ethernet cable!
That's not how you set up online connection on the PS3

No. You need to do it by USB.
Plug the guitar receiver in the ps3, make sure they are batteries in the guitar then press the playstation button while the ps3 is turned on, if it not sync go up to the receiver and press that button on it and press the PS button again on the guitar
If you were to ask me I would say No you would need to get rock band which comes with drums a microphone and even a guitar too. I hope that helped you some what. Thanks!
no it will not, it registers it as a controller so it will sync up as the microphone :// bummer i know.
you cant play ps3 games on ps2
yes you can
Plug the mic into the USB ports on the console.
To set up a sixaxis controller on your PS3 for the first time, plug it in with the charge cable. Then press the PS button and wait until the controller connects. Your controller will now be set up to work with your PS3.
Well, that depends on which game it is. Guitar Hero I and II can only use two guitars. Guitar Hero 3 can use two guitars, but Guitar Hero: World Tour can use a whole band set of two guitars, a microphone and a drum set. Though it is rumored you can use up to 3 guitars in Guitar Hero 5. Even still, the majority of these games limit it to two guitars.
