you have a procedure, coclusion,acknowledgements, assister (helper), a list of materials, a hypothisis, and a title. you costimize the board how you like but remember, the most important stuff go in the middle. a good thing to add color with is construction paper. depending on what your project is you could cut out all different shapes.

It may very from fair to fair but some common things include an explanation of what you did your experiment, why it happened (the science behind it), and practical applications.
