While I am in no way a mechanic, I can tell you that I had this problem before. The first thing I did was to make sure my Gas Cap was on tight. If your gas cap is loose, the "check engine" light will come on after a while. After about 150 miles, the light went off. I think it has something to do with re-setting the sensor...Hope this helps.

To reset the oil light on a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, first turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times within 10 seconds. After that, turn off the ignition and restart the engine to check if the oil light has reset. If the light remains on, you may need to repeat the process or check for any underlying issues.
