To simplify improper fractions you just have to simplify as you would with a regular fraction. Which is very easy, and if you dont know I will tell you how.

How to Simplify Fractions:

Divide the numerator and the denominator by a common factor.

Example: 2/4=1/2 (2 is the common factor in both 4 and 2)

You simplify an improper fraction like 15/8 by dividing the numerator (in this case 15) by the denominator ( in this case it is 8 ) so 15 / 8 is 1 Remainder 7, so we put one by itself, and a fraction next to it with the remainder over the denominator, so 1 7/8 or 1 and 7/8. If the fraction can be simplified, do so unless instructed otherwise.
