How do you solve the star puzzle?

First lay out all the pieces one by one. Then hold one piece in your hand vertically. Take another piece and horizontally put it into the higher niche on the vertically held piece. The pointy part of the triangle of the horizontal piece should be pointing down. That's how you know if you are putting the pieces together properly.

Then take another piece and fit it in to either the empty space on the right side of this two piece figure or the left. Once this is done you should have a triangle like 3 piece figure. Hold this in your left hand but only with your first 2 fingers and your thumb. With the two free fingers in your left hand and with your right hand make this same 3 piece figure shape.

Then all you need to do is slide the two 3 piece figure together and then you have your star puzzle! The sliding part can be the most difficult part of completing the puzzle. So just calmly look for where the pieces fit to slide in.
