According to scientific studies, women do have better dexterity than men do. This is because women have better sensory-motor coordination than men.
the E refers to Ecology, which emphasizes populations, behavior and things of that nature. The M which refers to Molecular contains questions about cell structure, organic/inorganic compounds and human anatomy. Although there is are 60 questions that must be answered for both tests, you will able to pick E or M after the 60 questions and answer 20 more which focuses on the subject you picked. In my opinion the Biology E would be a better test to take if you did not study as much as you liked to as it involved more reasoning rather than factual information. If you're confident in your knowledge of biology, you should take Molecular as they're straight forward know it or don't know it types of questions.
Amino acids. Btw this is my own question and I just answered it cause Yahoo Answers is better. They already had it answered and everything. You guys should step it up a notch. But yeah thanks anyways. Hopefully this helps any future biology students.
This question needs more detail in order to be answered better. Your eye could have gotten some particle of dust or dirt or makeup in the tear duct which created what is called a stye. It'll go away in a few days if that's what it is. It could also be that someone might have punched you in one eye causing that eye to swell. It could be something else though. Just give more detail in your question if you'd like a better answer than this.
I'm not sure what your question was, but I'm thinking you meant "WHY DO organisms with favourable traits have a better chance of surviving?". That's what I've answered below. Creatures which are better adapted for their immediate, local environment have a better chance of surviving because they are more able to overcome adverse situations specific to that environment. For example, if a creature eats a specific type of food and that food is only found at the top of tall bushes, a favourable trait would be being able to reach that food. Having these traits not only means that they have a better chance themselves of surviving, but it means that they have a better chance of living long enough to reproduce, thus passing on their genes. A prospective mate may recognise favourable traits and choose one mate over another so that her offspring may inherit those favourable traits and will have a better chance of survival.
The single greatest reason for unanswered questions is that the questions have not been phrased or spelled correctly. Whenever possible, users should correct the spelling and grammar of questions (except SPELLING questions, which are often phonetic and should not be corrected). It is very common to find questions answered multiple times (right or wrong) in several different forms of incorrect grammar or spelling. An unanswered simple question is very likely to have been answered already in its correct form.
This shows the laziness of the teacher: she made a test with 96 questions, not 100, and the student only got three-quarters of them correct--which also means the student was lazy in not studying enough to get a better score.
To get seventy percent or better on a quiz of 16 questions one needs 11.2 answers correctly answered. So it is best not to miss 4 but definitely not to miss 5 or more. This answer is arrived at by taking the 16 questions and multiplying by .70 (70 percent) or 16 x .70 = 11.2.
Many questions don't get answered or take a long time to answer because they are poorly formed questions or have spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes that make them hard to understand. If your question is well formed it will have a better chance of being answered
yes 10 times better your questions are always answered. some take longer than others but you do get an answer back
Maybe your questions are very difficult to answer. Ask some easy ones. We will answer you. Questions get answered better and faster when you make sure they are in the correct category.
If you see a question which has been poorly answered you can flag it for improvement. This is one of the question tools to the left of the page.
she likes every singer there it has been answered leave her alone she got better things to do than answer questions!
Due to the number of questions submitted each day to WikiAnswers, a number will inevitably be neglected. These bots help clean up these questions so they have a better chance of being answered.
Also: make sure that your questions are 'answerable'. Answers.com itself provides some pointers. So: not too general, like "what happened in Europe in the 19th century" because that's like asking someone to write a whole essay; and no copy/paste-questions like "which of the following...." without naming what 'the following' are. Also, make sure that you categorize your questions as specifically as Answers' system will allow. Many answerers (like me) mostly or even only check the questions that are placed in the category of their specific field of expertise. Categorizing correctly gives you a much better chance of getting an answer.
No sincere question is dumb- a better one would be if they are so easily answered why you are not doing so.
There are so many uses it boggles the mind. I will list a few, and perhaps people will add to it over time. * Setting and calculating discounts on sale items at the store * Calculating sales tax * Test scores (percentage correct) * Political polling Rates, and percentage is just a rate (per 100), are useful wherever you want to express one value relative to another value. Percentages become especially useful if you want to compare groups on a fairer basis. For example, if Student A gets 18 questions out of 20 correct and Student B gets 21 questions out of 30 correct, which is the better student? Student B answered MORE questions correctly, but Student A is better because they achieved a higher PERCENTAGE of right answers (18/20=90%). Student B's score, expressed as a percentage, is lower (21/30=70%). But if I had 2 questions and answered them both correctly, I'd be better (2/2=100%)
