Sadly... no. You can play Special Ops multiplayer, Xbox Live and split screen. And you can play Xbox Live, Xbox Live but not split screen

No, this hasn't been added they are still using the one console one account rule. I think there should be split screen but they do this for money purposes

When I rank up on Modern Warfare 2 it allows me to unlock things on XBOX Live but does not carry over to offline split screen do i have to rank up on both split screen and Live?
^^yes 6you can rank up off line i am 4th prestige on split screen and 5th on xbox live, but your unlocks do not carry over from xbox live you have to do them seperatly edit: i believe you can check the "xbox live unlocks" toggle to on, however this only pulls your live unlocks into the split screen, and any xp gained/challenges unlocked/etc wont count towards your live account. (im 85% on this).
