How do you start your second play through on mass effect 2?

After you kill the Boss in the Vault the game credits start to roll, hit escape then you have the option to complete one final task for a cash and points reward, you can then restart the game 'playthrough 2' keeping your character, skill level, weapons etc.

When you beat the game, if you quit and load your game again you will have the option to load playthrough 2. You will keep your equipment and money, but the story restarts with harder enemies scaled to your level. You can still play on your first game, so you can switch between one and two.

After playing through Mass Effect 2 the first time you have the option of starting a new game and selecting "Import ME2 Character". If you do this, all of your current skills and weapons will be transferred to the new game, however, paragon/renegade points will not be carried over, and will be discarded.

by going to new and selecting the option Import ME2 or ME1 character this will allow you to get 200k credits, 50k of every mineral resource(palladium,platinum,etc.) and a 25% Experience boost to your squad as well as an oppurtunity to respend skill points from the first playthrough( i had 20+ points to spend when i did my respending the first level up on the second playthrough) not just for your imported character but the whole squad that you had recruited the first playthrough.

Try it and see for yourself. I tried it myself and got all this stuff i mentioned above in the very beginning of the 2nd playthrough. Oh and you get all the weapons you got in the first playthrough back as well in the beginning.

You have to fast travel to the starting locations,

'Oasis' for Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty,

'Badass Crater of Badassitude' for Mister Torgue's Campaign of Carnage,

'Hunter's Grotto' for Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt,

'Unassuming Dock' for Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.

From the main menu, select Splitscreen. Player one chooses a character and the playthrough. Player two chooses a chracter. Player one selects start.
