One does not simply get into Stuyvesant because it is academically challenging. Speaking as a senior, I witness many freshman struggles, from the hallway talks of getting a 65 on their latest test to dropping out of a class. In Stuyvesant, many students get a GPA around an 88, due to accelerated course like AP's. As a freshman, you'll soon understand that receiving scores around 80+ are honestly very good already.
