How do you swing from a pole in ac brotherhood?

There is 2 ways:

1. Freerun by holding RT and A for Xbox, R1 and X for PS3 or Right mouse button and Space then run into a pole

2. Grab the pole, then hold RT and A for Xbox, R1 and X for PS3 or Right mouse button and Space, until you are swinging, then hold the "Move Forward" Button

On PS3 star swinging with X and L1. Then press press forward with your left stick. Hey presto.

While hanging, typically from thin poles you press and hold Right trigger+A (Xbox 360) to begin swinging then push toward where you'd like to jump to.

Hold R1 and toggle forward while holding X. After swinging back and forth once or twice it should automatically jump to the next pole.
