There's a red button inside the remote's battery compartment and another one in the SD card slot on the console (right above the eject button and below the reset button). Push the 2 red buttons simultaneously and they will sync

How do you get the second remote working?

First you need to sync it with the wii console. Open the panel on the wii console and you'll find a sync button there, and open the battery door on the remote and you'll see a sync button there as well. Click on both of them together and that will sync the remote with your console. You will only need to this once. Then in each game you play you have a way to add a remote (by clicking on buttons 1 and 2 together).

On the wii remote sync screen press 1and 2 simultaneously to use it as a guest remote. If you'd rather it was synced to the wii instead of the WiiU, you can resync it using the sync buttons. You can always resync a remote to either console if you want.

Your Wii remote is not working at all?

You should re-sync it by1.taking off the battery cover2.taking off the plastic flap near the disc slot at the front of the wii3.press the red button inside your wii and hold for 15 seconds4.press the button on your wii remotethis should work. If not so, make sure the wii sensor bar is plugged in properly.or i found this on nintendo.com in supportMost Common: Wii Remote not being recognized by the Wii Console (lights on the Wii Remote flash when you press a button, but then go out) - Getting the Wii console to recognize (or "sync" with) a Wii Remote, especially one that did not come in the box with your Wii console, may require doing a few additional steps before it can be synced. Additionally, a Wii Remote that was working, but is no longer being recognized (or has "lost its sync") may need to be re-synced. Please use the troubleshooting steps listed below, which our experience has shown can solve many Wii Remote issues.Try these steps!Turn the Wii console power OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a few seconds. After a few seconds have elapsed, plug the cord back into the wall outlet.Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii, allowing you to get a clean start to begin the process described below. After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes: With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the batteries.Press and release the small red button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the Wii Remote will blink.Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console (picture). When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).This sync procedure (steps "a" through "d" above) must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to the system. If you are still unable to get the Wii console to recognize your Wii Remote(s) after carefully following the steps above, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance.

How do you connect more Wii remotes on Wii music?

Things You Need: 1. 1 already synced remote to your wii. 2. 1 wii console. 3. 2 players. First, open your wii's menu from the wii remote after turning the wii on and pressing "A". then press 'reconnect' ( it says something like that) Player 1 presses 1 + 2 at the same time for about 2 seconds, then Player 2 the same. You can also do this with more players. then press a button to leave reconnect. Done! The wii remotes will sync to the wii in a few seconds. You have just completed the temporary sync. Now, on to syncing your FIRST remote. Things u need: 1. 1 wii console 2. 1 not sync remote. First, open the small cover on the wii that hides the red button. then, open the cover on the back of the wii remote to uncover the wii remotes red button. press the red button on the wii console for about 3 seconds, the press the red button on the wii remote for the same time. they should sync in a few seconds, if not, try again, perhaps with a different time. Once you have sync them, you can do the sync at the top. You have done a permanent sync! ( it's not REALLY permanent, you can still sync it to another wii, then back!)
