The doctor first have to see how far along you are since many are mistaken when it comes to counting weeks. A medical abortion is available up to 63 days - 9 weeks - after the first day of a woman's last period. The medication used is a combo of Mifepristone (the abortion pill - kills the embryo) and Misoprostol ( causes cramps to make the embryo come out). They are on prescription and the doctor will give them to you unless you are too far gone or have health reasons why you can not take them. There will be 4 visits:
1. To get examined, and then most states have a waiting period and the clinic can have a waiting list.
2. Get the abortion pill.
3. Get the Misoprostol.
4. 2 weeks after there's a checkup to make sure the uterus is empty and that it worked. This checkup is VERY important since if there are remains you will get a serious infection.
The other option would then be a surgical abrotion.
The eggs take 3 to 7 weeks to hatch and the babies stay in the pouch for another 6 to 7 weeks.
That wouldn't do anything different from what happened in the previous weeks of taking the birth control pill.
Mifepristone followed by Misoprostol. You get them directly from the doctor and take the first one at his office.
it dependa on how far along you are. if you are less than 7 weeks they make a pill that causes an abortion. after 7 weeks thay don't
You can - your next period will be in three weeks. But try not to do it too often.
yes
You have the option of buying Yasmin 28 pills or 21. The 21 pills option simply doesn't have the 7 last sugar pills that are just there for a reminder to take your pill everyday. So if you have the Yasmin 21 tablets and are done with the last pill in your pack, you don't take any pill for 7 days, then start in a new Yasmin 21 pack.
My OB/GYN recommended that I take my birth control for at least a month before having unprotected sex.
Hi, Take the pill as soon as you remember but use a back-up method of protection - a condom for 7 days.
It took about 6/7 weeks It took about 6/7 weeks
When this happens, you need to use a condom for 7 days because you missed a pill. You could also take the morning after pill.
If you don't take your pill as prescribed then have unprotected sex then you stand a chance of becoming pregnant. Do a test 2 - 3 weeks after you had unprotected sex then you will know.
