The speed governor is part of the settings in the Engine Control Module (ECM). You would need to have a computer with the appropriate software hooked up to the ECM in order to reprogram it. The computer and software to do this can be found at any IVECO dealer - their willingness to do this, on the other hand, is an entirely different matter. In a lot of countries where IVECO products are sold, the governor speeds are mandated by law, and neither fleets nor dealers are going to be particularly willing to face the legal repercussions.
It requires a visit to a programmer. Voids the warranty though.
I believe the factory top speed is 145 with the limiter. If you take it off though im sure it will easily top 150. It is 162 without the limiter removed
It does not have a governor. Speed is computer controlled, by either a rev limiter or fuel shutoff.
because they are computer speed limited to a 100 but if you take it to a shop they can turn off the limiter
By reprogramming the ECM parameters.
It has a top speed limiter. Once you reach that speed it will shut the engine off
you dont
You can not remove it, but you can change out the CDI box. http://www.magnumtuning.com/en/detail/revolution-pro-atv-speed-rev-limiter-cdi-box/john-deere/gator-xuv620efi/atv
The only way to "shut off" the spees limiter is to get it tuned by someone that has a tuner. Go to www.OQCGP.net there is someone there that can help you.
you have to hook up a handheld tuner to cut off speed limiter. Make sure you have decent tires. Eclipse GSX had no speed limiter because it came with tires rated for 160mph+. Rs GS GST came with tires good for 130's. That is why they have speed limiter. My GSX had intake, catback, fuel boost and turbo boost, maybe around 260 horse, and the fastest i got it to was 155.
between 130-140 ks
Have you tried turning it off and on again
