In general, revolvers are not intended to be taken apart for routine cleaning and maintenance. I would strongly suggest that you contact a qualified gunsmith for assistance if needed. They are MUCH easier to take apart than to put back together again.

For normal cleaning, it is not necessary. A detail strip can be done by a gunsmith. If you have an armorer's manual you can attempt it yourself. I don't know of any that are online that don't require purchase.
