There are two bolts at the front bottom on the seat bottom, and two bolts at the bottom of the seat back. The bottom seat bottom pulls out forward from the seat back. The seat back lifts up from being hooked on the the rear body panel. It's a simple job. You can have the seats removed in less than 10 minutes.
There are four bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the car. Put seat all the way forward and take out the 2 back bolts - then move seat back to take out the front bolts and the seat should come right out. If it is a power seat you have to disconnect the electrical wires first - obviously. Had to do this not long ago....good luck!
On my Chevy lumina it is located right by the gas take on the right side of the car.
I have a 1994 chevy lumina and it takes 4 quarts of transmission fluid when totally empty.
take it to a mechanic
I'm about 99% sure that it is in the gas tank. Yes, you do have to drop the tank to replace this.AnswerMake that 100%. Mark AnswerBaloney!!! I changed mine. It is accesable under the back seat. AnswerBoth you guys are right - you can change it either by removing the gas tank or by taking off the back seat, but it'll take the same amount of time either way.
Im pretty sure that it doesn't need to be set just put it back on the same way you take the old one off.
