How do you tame a pig?

Depends on what you are wanting to train the pig to do? Bell training is the easiest. get a bell, and ring it every time you go to feed the pig. it will take at least a week or two, but soon the pig will become bell trained. if pig gets out of pen or wonders off, all you have to do is ring the bell and the pig will come to you. pot bellies can also be litter box trained similar to a cat or dog being housebroken. remember to never hit your pig for any reason. yelling doesn't work well either. training a pig is like teaching a 3 yr old. you have to be gentle but firm, consistent, and patient.

Give it a girly pig so his mind is distracted while you fiddle with its subconscious.

One way that I've tamed sheep is grains. They love grains and will do anything to get them. If you want a sheep to be tame, you give it oats or ground peas everyday. It might be afraid of you at first so just put it in a bucket and let it eat. Eventually, it will eat the grain out of your hand and will associate you with treats. It will walk right up to you and check to see if you have grain. Another way is to get one while it's young and spend lots of time with it, give it treats, or even get one that was rejected by the mother and bottle feed it. Bottle fed lambs are often as friendly as they get.

• a dependable schedule, such as fixed feeding times
• a single person caring for them

• forced petting, holding, stroking

Taming your guinea pig is sometimes easy and sometimes hard, but it is all the same you can bond with your guinea pig through there stomach. Food is the answer! Give your guinea pigs little bits of food such as cucumber, carrots, romaine lettuce. N.B: NEVER GIVE YOUR GUINEA PIG ICEBERG LETTUCE.Whilst feeding your guinea pig these little bits,you can gently approach them and stroke them and tickle them and then they will understand that you are not a threat.
