As an prior owner or breeding guinea pigs, I have noticed the animals often birth late in the evening or early in the morning. As nocturnal animals it makes sense, but it is strange that they often do not give birth during sleeping hours for humans. The tummy of the pig begins to have visual indications of the babies movement as delivery approaches. If you are looking at a short haired pig, then you can often see moving areas of the tummy to help you estimate how many will be born. When you are able to see these movements birth will occur during the week. Other than these indications you will hear squealing from the babies and any other pigs in the cage during the birthing to indicate it is happening. Also, if you know the day of conception you can calculate the date of delivery as would be done in humans.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if a guinea pig has ever had babies before.
No, not unless you eat the guinea pig, and I don't think your going to do that... :D
Take you guinea-pig to the vet - if they are experienced they should be able to tell if your guinea-pig is preggers or not.
Guinea pigs can sometimes die after labor due to complications during childbirth, such as difficulty delivering the babies or internal bleeding. It may also be related to underlying health issues or inadequate care during the birthing process. Prompt veterinary care is crucial in such situations.
You can tell if a guinea pig is a boy or girl at the age of 4weeks
Boy guinea pigs don't have nipples.
The guinea pig should see a veterinarian. The veterinarian can discover the cause of the guinea pig's hair loss, and he or she can see what should be done for the guinea pig.
You can quietly watch your guinea pig while she is in labor to make sure nothing bad happens, like trouble taking of the "sac" of the face or elongated time of birthing and ONLY intervene at that time. Your guinea pig should not have any problems birthing though.- mother of pregnant guinea pig

Yes, a veterinarian can perform an ultrasound or X-ray to confirm if a female guinea pig is pregnant. It is not possible to accurately diagnose pregnancy in guinea pigs through physical examination alone.
