How do you throw rocks on assassins creed 2?

It depends which assasin's creed. The first one is you select your knife, it's the same thing, then lock on to a target and throw your knife; you will have to unlock that weapon though later in the game.

In the second one you press L2 select the throwing knives which are by the knife and then lock on to a target and throw.

You don't. You throw knives and you can throw sand (with later training at the villa). Rocks are often thrown at you while climbing.

It depends weather you have a xbox or ps3. ps3 you hold down square ond relice. do the same thing but with the x button.
