THERE IS NO TIMING ON THE CAR NOR IS THERE A DISTRIBUTER ITS AN OPTISPARK AND NO TIMING CAN BE DONE TO IT
Timing can be change thru after market sorces such as programmers like Hypertec or even the throttle position sensor that Mid America offers. You can also find people who do reprogram these cars privately.
I have a 94 that I've installed the MSD distributor ( optispark ) and MSD 6 AL and coil. This distributor does have timing control but you have to make a pointer and find TDC in order to reference timing.
To time the distributor on a 1993 Corvette LT1, you will need a timing light and a timing pointer. Connect the timing light to the battery and the number one spark plug wire, then aim the timing light at the timing pointer. Loosen the distributor hold-down bolt and turn the distributor until the timing mark lines up with the specified timing degree indicated in the manual. Tighten the distributor bolt and recheck the timing to ensure it is set correctly.
Odds are you have an optispark unitl. If so it is under the water pump on the front of the engine. Look up optispark replacement on LT1 or C4 Corvette.
There was no LT1 in the 1992 B body, the LT1 was introduced in the F body and Corvette in 1993, and 1994 in the B and D bodies.
The 350 LT1 in the 1993-97 Z28s are considered by some as a "detuned" Corvette engine, but they never matched the Corvette in actual horsepower ratings (not officially, anyway)
The pressure should be 44-47 psi on LT1.
300 hp for the LT1
Why would you want to put a '76 vintage small block into your 1994 Corvette to replace the LT1? That's craziness but it can certainly be done. Now, if you're asking whether you can install a 1994 LT1 into a '76, your answer is ABSOLUTELY YES. LT1 into older Corvette is a very common swap. Good luck with it.

in 92 caprice did not come with lt1 only corvette had lt1 in 92
I had a 95 Impala SS with the lt1 350 and a friend with a Camaro lt1 and as I understand it the main difference was the Caprice 9c1/ Impala SS LT1 had more torque than the Camaro and Corvette versions since it was a heavier car and thus had a slight less horse power. on a side note when I raced a corvette with a LT1 we were head to head, the corvette was stock and my only modification was a cold air intake. hope this helps you
Rough idle lacks power
