Draft Picks
They trade him for the Laker's 2013 and 2015 first round draft picks and 2013 and 2014 second round draft picks
some teams trade draft picks for players and all that good stuff.
Ther are no cheats. basically before playoffs trade ur first second and third round draft picks you trade them with the worst team in the league. they will always accept the trade. you have to turn off the trade deadline. then after you complete the trade turn the deadline back on.
Rick Robey and draft picks
Pre-Draft you may only have 10, but you may trade for more during the draft.
Jaguars have 10 picks in the 2011 draft. They have 6 original picks (traded a pick for Smiley) but then they got two 7th rounders (Reggie Nelson and Anthony Smith) a 5th rounder (Quentin Groves) and the Saints did a draft day trade last year which got the Jags their 2011 4th round pick. That equals the Jaguars to 10 picks this year in the draft.
254 picks in 7 rounds because of compensatory picks
According to the trade value chart in use by most NFL general managers at the time, the 1999 picks the Saints traded were worth 92.5% as much as the pick they received. However, the Saints also traded away two 2000 picks in the deal, so even if they had won the Super Bowl in 1999, they still would have "lost" the trade value-wise.
All teams have 1 pick in the first round unless you trade for multiple first round draft picks, but not many teams do that since the first round has the best players.
u start with 2 but u can trade to have more usually no more than 3 or4
The NFL currently has 32 teams and each team gets 8 draft picks. Therefore, the total number of picks in the NFL draft stands at 256.
