To train a pot belly takes time and patience. Their natural instinct is to run when something happens around them. In the natural world they are prey of other larger animals. Don't chase your pig, but if you want to catch you need to use a flat piece of wood or plywood and use it to move your pig into a corner. Just takes blocking him each time he moves. Your pig is very sensitive to temperature fluctuations so you need to keep him/her cool or warm. They like to nest so give your pig plenty of bedding so they can make a nest. I had one and he slept in the house along side my bed. They make a great pet.
