You should walk your dog twice a day on a sunny day. If rainy, find shady spots in your backyard. If you don't have shady spots in your backyard, go to your friend's house if they have shade in they're yard. If not, go for a bushwalk.

∙ 11y agoBefore you walk outside, you need to make sure you have your dog firmly on a leash. Also make sure your dog has all his/her appropriate dog tags so if he/she gets lost someone will know where to call. It's absolutely important you bring treats for rewards and some poop bags. Dogs tend to like open places like the park or near a lake.

Most dogs are too small to ride,However there are dogs that can be ridden by children...Bigger breeds of dogs like Mastifs, Great Danes, Saint Bernards and Newfys can easily carry a child on their back if the child weighs under 50 pounds...However it is not something that should be done regulary, because even big breeds of dogs were not physically designed to be ridden like horses,donkeys ect...

∙ 12y agoFirst buy a leash and collar and start walking the puppy when its young,if you wait to long it will be scared of the leash don`t pull on the dog let him go where he wants to start with,once the puppy is used to walking then you train the puppy to walk beside you and not pull you around, when the leash gets tight stop walking when the puppy stops then start walking again.
Vets recommend a dog harness and leash, not a collar for starting pups off walking. Walking a pup on a collar and leash can damage the dog's trachea if the pup pulls, as they are prone to.
