Sprint can transfer your mobile phone number from one Sprint phone to another Sprint phone in most cases. First decide which method you want to use for contacting Sprint:
- Dial *2 from your mobile phone, or call9042353345from any phone.
- Go to any Sprint store.
- Go to any Radio Shack store.
You will need to provide your mobile phone number and identify yourself with your name and PIN, a previously-chosen secret number of 6 digits or more. (Passwords used to be 4 digits and were generally the last-4 digits of the customer's Social Security Number, but Sprint just recently moved to a more-secure identity check. They may still help you, though, if y this number on the inside back of the phone, under the battery.
Sprint or Radio Shack will now have to program your phone or talk you through the programming. This takes just a couple minutes. Keep your old phone turned off while you do this.
Your new phone might start working with your new number immediately, but Sprint says they may need up to 4 hours. Transferring any stored voicemail messages could take longer.
There should be no charge for this change, or contract extension, or extension of eligibility for credit toward a new phone. Discuss these points with Customer Service to be certain there is no misunderstanding.
To transfer your "address book" (phone directory, all the numbers stored on your phone) and other information, you can either manually recover the information from your old phone (even after the number is transferred), or you can take both phones to a Sprint store where, in most cases, their equipment can transfer your information. There may be a small charge.
There are a few cases where the number cannot be transferred:
- The "new" phone is already active on Sprint on someone else's account.
- The phone has been reported to Sprint as lost or stolen.
- The last account the phone was registered to has a past-due balance.
- The phone is too old to support the current Sprint network.
- The phone is not GPS-enabled and so cannot report its location when making a 911 call.
To me i think sprint is better than Verizon.
Sprint.
You can't it's not possible but I have Selena gomezes cell number
it is pn Verizon sprint and at&t
Yes Sprint offer better wireless coverage then Verizon. Sprint has a ntwork that covers every corner of the country.
It uses the Verizon network.
no
yes
Nope, sprint uses a different technology for there towers and Verizon doesn't accept sim cards.
At&t, sprint, and verizon but i would reccomend verizon because at&t and sprint have the worst service
Verizon has a greater reception rate then sprint. considering the service provider is what affects the reception received by a cellular device, no the sprint 8300 doesn't not have better reception then the Verizon envy 2.
No. Cingular/AT&T use the GSM network and Sprint uses CDMA. A Verizon phone could be used with a Sprint plan but Verizon customer service will have to give an unlock code.
